Telese Terme. “In light of the recent escalation of thefts in homes, this administration, as well as the law enforcement agencies, have not let their guard down for a moment.” This is how the mayor of Telese Terme, Giovanni Caporaso, comments on the criminal events that have occurred in the thermal city.
“Before being mayor, I am a citizen of this community, I live here, and therefore I care about the safety of my city and my fellow citizens,” continues Caporaso. “Since the beginning of my term, I have continuous and daily dialogue with the law enforcement agencies. I am aware of the commitment they have put in place, including the Carabinieri, the State Police, the Guardia di Finanza, and the Local Police in our territory. In fact, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of them for their closeness and attention.”
It is crucial in these moments to report any suspicious presence or movements in the city to the law enforcement agencies. “From the collaboration of everyone, a great force is derived to counter crime,” emphasizes the mayor of Telese. “Therefore, I thank those who have already taken action in these days to report and denounce, and I invite all citizens to do so whenever necessary, even by contacting me, and I will immediately inform the law enforcement agencies.”
Periodically, the towns in the Telesina Valley are targeted by groups of criminals who try to break into homes to steal money and other valuables. Each time, there is a strong and determined response from all the men and women in uniform, who patrol the area and protect the citizens at all hours of the day and night.
“I also want to thank Mr. Prefect of Benevento, Carlo Torlontano, who, in a long phone conversation, assured me that the Telese case is one of the main points of the upcoming weekly briefings with the provincial law enforcement agencies,” adds Giovanni Caporaso. “Knowing the great professionalism of our Prefect and all the police forces, I am certain that the attention is high and the commitment is maximum. Finally, I would like to invite everyone not to engage in political speculation regarding events related to order and security. Instead, we should come together to reassure the citizens and, at the same time, support and facilitate the work of the law enforcement agencies.”
