Violence between two neighbors, one of them hits the other with a rod. Police and carabinieri intervene. It was an afternoon of high tension, yesterday in Nocera Inferiore, in via Garibaldi, near a condominium in the center. A quarrel between two people, residents of the same building, almost ended in a brawl, to the point that it was necessary for law enforcement to intervene to restore calm and separate the two contenders.
One of them ended up in the hospital with head injuries. The investigation could soon begin if complaints and reports are filed. At the moment, the case is being treated as assault. The two people, probably due to old grudges from the past – one lives on the lower floor and the other on the upper floor – started arguing and then took the fight to the street. According to witnesses, one of them had a blunt object in hand, which he then used to hit the other on the head. Several people rushed to the street to separate the two and prevent the worst. From photos and videos shared on social media, it was possible to see a shirtless man, covered in blood stains. Carabinieri from the Nocera Inferiore Territorial Department and a police car from the State Police station intervened to calm the situation, which was highly agitated due to the number of people involved. An ambulance transferred and assisted a wounded person to the hospital, while the other participants and witnesses were taken to the police station to be questioned and reconstruct what happened.
