This is the outcome of the operation carried out this morning in Aversa by the Local Police, led by Colonel Antonio Piricelli (a member of the “Terra dei Fuochi” task force established at the Prefecture of Naples and chaired by the Government Delegate Vice Prefect Ciro Silvestro), together with the soldiers of the Campania Regiment of the Italian Army and personnel from the Local Health Authority working in the Department of Workplace Safety.
During the inspection activities near the cemetery, a 200-square-meter company used as a body shop was inspected, where three individuals were identified, two of whom were found to be working illegally.
The legal representative of the business was reported for labor exploitation, as well as for failure to fill out the loading and unloading registers and for non-compliance with workplace safety regulations. Furthermore, the workshop was placed under judicial police seizure due to lack of environmental authorization.
