Scoperto allevamento abusivo di pitbull a San Felice a Cancello
SAN FELICE A CANCELLO. Ignoring the most basic rules regarding animal breeding, a 37-year-old man from Acerra, in the province of Naples, had set up an illegal kennel on a plot of land in the Ischitella area, in the municipality of San Felice a Cancello. Yesterday afternoon, the Carabinieri from the local station intervened together with veterinary personnel from the ASL of Caserta and found 13 pitbulls in precarious health conditions, including 5 puppies and only two with the required microchip for registration and identification in the canine registry.
The adult dogs were chained with a 2-meter long steel chain. The animals were immediately entrusted to the care of the ASL veterinarians who are taking care of the administrative procedures related to them. The manager of the breeding facility, on the other hand, was taken to the police station and reported. He will have to answer for animal abuse and abandonment.
