It has now become a habit. A sad, unhealthy, humiliating, and dangerous reality that we have all become accustomed to is that of waste being set on fire outside the nomad camps.
As reported by citizens to the deputy of the Green-Left alliance, Francesco Emilio Borrelli, last night there were more fires at the Scampia camp, well known for numerous similar incidents.
“We alerted Arpac to monitor the air conditions,” comments Borrelli, “what is happening is a slow massacre, a dripping. And yet, such phenomena continue to be allowed without drastic measures being taken. These camps must be closed and dismantled once and for all. What are we waiting for?”
